SGS counts about 300 members (active and inactive), predominantly geologists but also scientists from related fields or just nature protection enthusiast from Serbia. Member of SGS can become every geologist or closely related investigator.  Members of the society should receive scientific magazine  "Zapisnici Srpskog geološkog društva" and benefits in scientific meetings and filed trips.
